New Rope Park in Lori

25.08.2023

On August 25, a new and modern equipped rope park was opened in "Gugark forest camp" in the village of Vahagnadzor, Lori region, which was supported by the ITTD project.

From now on, children, their parents and other guests of the camp have the opportunity to overcome their fears with the help of the rope park, improve their coordination and concentration skills, combining adventure tourism with exciting entertainment.

The rope park is designed for adventurers taller than 120 cm. It is completely safe, as it has passed all safety standards.

Lilit Khanamiryan, head of the "Gugark Forest Camp" project, says: "Children always want new adventures. That is why, in order to meet the needs of today's children, we decided to renew the camp by building a modern rope park."

Sebastian Falck, head of the tourism component of the ITTD project, says: "Gugark went through a very big competition when applying for a grant. Today we were more than convinced that we made the right choice. The result is more than satisfactory."

At the end of the event, Mr. Falck, the co-founder of "Gugark Forest Camp" Vahe Khanamiryan, as well as a number of children successfully tested the newly constructed park.
