On September 15 the EU Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin visited village Krashen in Shirak Region, where an EU4BUSINESS grantee Berlin Art Hotel plans to establish an eco-lodge. Here visiting tourists can rest and relax, eat organic food, take hiking or skiing tours and train in the open-air gym/sports area. The aim of the project is to turn village Krashen of Shirak Region into a recreational area not only for the winter sports, but for the whole year long.

The EU4BUSINESS "Tourism Action Grants in Times of COVID-19" aim at supporting tourism ventures in the Northern Regions of Armenia to overcome the hardships imposed by the pandemic. The grants are provided to 30 individual business operators and consortia in tourism sector by the EU4Business Innovative Tourism Project implemented by GIZ Armenia.
